How will the training be delivered?

The training will be delivered over two days through video conferencing (no need to attend a venue). During the course you will participate in listening to the live lessons, contributing to group discussions and completing the course workbook and assessment documents.

How will the course be assessed?

To meet assessment criteria for this course learners will need to prepare a lesson plan, course resources and materials prior to undertaking the microteaching session.

Learners must complete a 20-30 minute microteaching session that will be observed and assessed by the centre’s Tutor/Assessor. Tip: it would be a good idea to plan or have a session in mind for you to deliver prior to attending the course.

Training materials or resources developed and used by the learner during the micro-teach, such as presentation slides or handouts, will be retained for quality assurance purposes. In addition to materials developed for the microteach session, learners must also complete written work which will be assessed and retained in your learner assessment pack.
